Please just take note that the D-Link DSL-2500U does not have wireless or more than 1 LAN port.

I really can't guarantee that it will fix your problems, which is why I'd suggest you borrow one if you can.
I think the Netgear DGN2200 also has a very good ADSL modem, but the price that you pay for a modem that does not even have bridge/half-bridge modes is absurd.
