Adsl connection Or neotel ??? fo uncapped.

hi everybody,

Since IS thresold account i am planning seriously going shopping for a new line.
I am a heavy dow/uploader and i need speed.

I am two choice :
-getting a 512kb buissness so i do not get thresold, inconvenient my speed will be bad Or
- neotel.

I do not know neotel and i am wondering going to the biggest package will better than an adsl buissness.

What will you do >?
Is Neotell is good or crap ?

In my experience IS has only meant missery and unhappiness. However, others have had more joy with them.

I have no idea about NeoTel, but there are things to consider such as the NeoTel device has no ethernet (network) access, only a usb device. Also your internet connection is dropped should the phone ring and you answer the call. Then their speed appears to be inconsistent, and their latency very high.

You being a heavy downloader / uploader, consider either staying with what you have, or look at a SAIX solution. Yes it will cost a lot of money, but that is the way it is here. All those so-called "uncapped" accounts are actually not "uncapped", the connection speeds are often limited / throttled once you reach a certain amount of bandwidth used.

I guess you have to decide how important your downoads and uploads are, and how much you are willing to spend on it. Remember, in SA the internet is only supposed to be used for surfing the net, and e-mail, anything more than that is seen to be abuse by the mighty small people in charge.

Forget Neotel. Just look at the upload speed, and you will see why I am saying it.
