ADSL Connection Problem

Having a problem connecting to the internet.
This is the setup

Line--->>ADSL Modem--->>Linksys WRT54GL Router--->>Switch--->>File Server/ Print Server/ Computers

The ADSL went down yesterday. I phoned Mweb and they say they can see the connection is on and functioning on their side.

When I do a traceroute this is what I get:

It shows that it reaches the website, but it doesn't on Internet Explorer..
Telkom did phone yesterday and say there was a problem in the area. (Greenside, Linden) but said it should be fine by now.

Anyone have any advice?

Try using a different adsl account maybe? try using [email protected] with password guest( think that is it) and see if you can access www.telkom.co.za or telkomsa.net?

I have 2 adsl lines connected to the linden exchange and both are up and functioning at the moment.

EDIT: remembering now, the linden exchange does have more than one dslam. Both my lines are connected to different dslams. Seems yours is connected to the one which is faulty. Try calling telkom and ask them to do a line test. They should be able to pick up if there is any traffic coming from that dslam
