ADSL could not open an SSL website while dialup coul

I have a weird problem that i could not solve and hope someone there can shed some light on it.

I have an ADSL connection using Linksys, and tried to access an SSL (https) website through FireFox, IE and Google Chrome but had no luck. I did reset my internet options to defaults and had no luck either. So I thought maybe turning to the old dialup could give me some clues...and it did work like a charm. It opened the website without a problem. This is puzzling to me. What is going wrong?

Call your isp there is something on there side that is preventing u from accessing SSL had the same problem and after a "!@#$l" 10 email my isp did something on there side and it worked. He never told me what he did but give it a try.

Prolly a proxy problem.

I am not using a proxy for either the dialup or the ADSL

I seem to be having the same problem this morning. I'm with Axxess.

Check your MTU Size.
