ADSL Coverage

Good Day,


I am re-locating from 447 Jack Hindon Street, Pretoria North to San Jacinto, 940 Marina Street, Claremont, Pretoria and have to pay by 26.02.2015 at 10h00.

I have requested for my line to be transferred, but today I have received a call from Telkom at +27313631982 informing me that there is NO ADSL where I am moving to.

I was shocked. How is this possible? There is a shopping Centre on the street corner not even 100m away.

How is this possible?

If I look on the coverage I can see the green coverage as follow: -

Can somebody please explain to me how to read this?

I would contact TelkomZA on this forum, You will get more accurate info but you will only get a response on Monday/Tuesday most likely. Does the new place have a telephone number? This is in a complex, but there is a telephone pole on the fence of the premises. There is 36 units, but I do not know whether there is somebody with a telephone line in the complex.
 
I'm not sure I have the titanium balls to be as brazen to post my physical street address.
