ADSL Debate - in my head

So this is what we have at home:

Telkom weekender. The fixed line part of it
10gb softcap - not enough
2mb ADSL line. Slow for many, fine for us
Total Cost R399

Now, as mentioned, 10GB isnt enough.

Our budget is very tight and would really like not to spend not much more than we are, if you could appreciate this.


I see a few ISP's have deals such as VOX and AXXESS.

Would you mind sharing your opinions? Such as Fixed line from telkom @ R200, AXXESS host line @ R150 etc etc etc etc

I am having the same debate. You can upgrade to Telkom Simple Uncapped (2Mbps) for R579. The other option is keep the Telkom Simple 399 and buy the Openweb 148 Uncapped. I have trialled it for a week and I must say it was decent. Month to Month so if you don't like cancel. There has been a lot of negative reviews for OW but they really trying to win back the market. If they offered me an EFT option I would take it. But I need to provide banking details etc.
