ADSL detail traffic stats

[V] newby to this group, how can I ge detailed stats re my adsl usage? which would include src and dst? i'm using the adsl pots router supplied by telkom

to do that in a big way get a proper firewall linux/free bsd then log all data to a database ...

i just monitor abuse [bad packets] web (ftp/http/https) from the proxy and smtp from mail server as well as a total ...

your ISP keeps track of the total so you can get this info from the TI site

the thing is, i do not trust the 1.5 gig of traffic for myself since 1sept at this stage and would like to check it, will telkom be able to provide it?

be very carefull as it is common that usernames are given out by telkom to other users/them selves ...

waht you need is your login history caller ID should show the mac addie of your router ...

if it differs you need to take it further ...

calll the hell desk tell them to look at your radius login history on VISP save as html and email you get really snotty about it ... and esculate it for investigation ...
