Anyone else experiencing issues?
Adsl light is on but nothing under 'line's don't have an actual phone to test for dial tone

Test with a multimeter if you have one should be about 50 to 60 V DC if your line is working .

Sigh, well weirdly I can call my line and it rings, even though no phone is attached. This is probably normal, I know little of these things

Normal unplug a phone and you will hear a ring if you phone the unplugged phone. Errr fire next to the Morningside road big enough to close the road.

Phoned telkom - they say no fault and they can see my router - openweb is saying no fault my account works fine - If telkom can see my router that means line must be working right? Blah - maybe I should get a test account and try someone else
