ADSL down! KELVIN exchange...

Is there anyone here connected to the Kelvin ADSL exchange?

We've been offline since SAT and repeated calls to the Sh!thole that is Telkom have proved fruitless. We get told they're working on it...nearly a week later!? :o

Anyone else having issues with this exchange?

Have two seperate offices that connect to the Kelvin exchange (JHB right?). Both are working 100%

Did they indicate what the problem might be?
 
They reckon not everyone is affected.

They issued us with a fault number but what's the point if it's their exchange?

No idea what the problem is. They refuse to give us a time or to put us through to a supervisor.

Does anyone have a contact at Telkom?

Every time I phone we get told the fault is still logged and "they are working on it".

What the @#$^ can they still be working on after TEN days? :o

The line jumps between alive and dead, and we've had about 2 hours of connectivity in the last 10 days.

This is nothing short of laughable.

1) Speak to a supervisor, they can't refuse you that
2) Tell them you'd like to speak to accounts about getting your money back which you are paying for and (losing) not being able to do business.

But in all seriousness, yeah, try getting hold of a supervisor.
