ADSL Downgrade to same speed but cheaper?

Hi,

So I have been reading about telkom's upgrading of 2mb lines to 4mb lines for free. I live in a 4mb enabled estate, no 10mb and no idea when it will arrive. Hypothetically, could I ask telkom to downgrade my 4mb line (which wont become 10mb anytime in the near future) to a 2mb line (which is now a 4mb line) and pay the price of a 2mb while the speed remains the same?

yes

u will pay 299 for 4mbps
and 425 for 4-10mbps

just ask them to put you on a 4mbps line
