Just something intresting. i know when I went from Dialup to ADSL I had sporadic probs with my SMTP server. So have most ADSL users I know until you change the SMTP server (away from smtp.telkomsa.net).

Nobody here had similar probs?

Thats very interesting, 'cos I'm running a mail solution behind an ADSL connection (with pop3 catchall pull-down solution), and I've set up our exchange server to use the smart host (smtp host) "smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net" and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Think that is where answer lie. When I enrolled, the SMTP server was smtp.telkomsa.net. Many probs. See you now have it as smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net. I have changed to smtp.saix.net and no probs after that. Must try the revised one.

Wonder when Telkom will inform the "old" customers about this change.

Funny, 'cos I received all the settings from TelkomInternet when they emailed me with my username and password details.
