ADSL Express - a few questions

Im doing some research but i needed to know a few things...
Are all the IPS's ADSL Express options (1) month-2-month contracts (2) you have to supply your own router (3) all of them have port shaping (4) all have download thresholds?

You're right with everything but I think some options are unshapped. But that doesn't matter because the biggest problem is the threshold cap. The speed of the service is cut in half once the 10 day rolling period threshold is passed.

To many guys have complained the service is slow and crappy when that happens. What's the point of having "uncapped" then?

The only option that's worth it is buisiness uncapped. Starting at R1539 for 512 ain't cheap and you must use the cisco router that comes with the service. Also you're tied up in a contract. At least on this service you can go flatout unshapped with no threshold.

Bottom line dont get express if you're planning to download a lot.
