im gettin ADSL in a few weeks and im really concerned about this CAP thingy...

He calls it FTP transfer too, when clearly he means DCC. Probably a BSA or SAMRO type trying to intice the stupid users in to his channel.
 
And an IRC server whose domain is hosted on Zoneedit - real pro that :)

Well done guys, you chased the dude away, and he already deleted his post, all within 1 hour and 6 minutes.
What could he possibly have done, and why were youre responses so offensive to him, they didn't seem so bad to me.
If someone feels like letting me in on the loop, WTF did he say, that caused such a stir???

Unsolicited advertising if you ask me.

(You do not actually have to make money from the thing you are advertising, if users don't want to read it and you send it to them, it's still spam.)
