Hey, ok look I got ADSL yesterday! so I finally said goodbye to the bitch called Dail-up! WHOOP WHOOP! but now I want to know what is the cost of 512kb 2gig cap ADSL, cause thats what my dad got and he is convinced that he is only paying R250 or something.


and then secondly, were do I check my cap availebility? Id like to know how much I still got in the pot!

oh and by the way how does this ADSL work, do I get like 100gig free if i visit sites from SA?
 
thanks BROMAK i love you, 512 is faster then 384... so what you are saing is my dad pays R258
 
if it says that I have used 188.9711 MB is that alot off my 2gig?
 
No sorry, its R258 for 384kbps with 2GB/20GB cap.

Its going to be R470 for 512kbps with 2GB/20GB cap.

This shows how rubbish 512Kbps is, its too expensive.
You can download with a 384kbps @ 40KB/s
You can download with a 512kbps @ 50KB/s

Are you willing to pay R210 more for an extra 10KB/s download speed?

And no, the 20GB local is when if you are capped, you can still browse all sites that are hosted in SA.

You have already used over 100MB in two days, at this speed you will not even see two weeks out on 2GB!

If you do not want to have your dad come down on you for taking all the bw, I would strongly suggest you and he get educated in what 1MB, 1GB, etc. is so that you can realistically budget your cap for the rest of the month!

Once again highlighting the plight of us poor okes! Having to realistically budget our cap - eish - thanks for nothing Telscum! :mad:
 
trolling? does that mean like useing P2P software? should I delete ares? I have used 276mb now!!!
 
Gee Facebook is a bandwidth hog. All those stupid pictures and banners eat b/w
faster than porn sites.
