ADSL Help.....please

Hey Guys,

My ADSL has just been installed and now I'm all excited and happy, only thing is, I'm a gamer and when i try connect to online games (eg. Trackmania Nations and Steam) i get a connection error.

Steam doesn't seem to send/receive data at all and trackmania just doesn't connect to the server i wish to play on. I can view all the servers, but can't connect

Any help will be much appreciated and i am a noob at this too so.....ya

could be virus softwares and your windows firewall

also try maybe changing your port options in the game if you can

Call your ISP , I am sure they will help you, do not know much about this

You hit the nail on the head right there, i fixed it, it was a port forwarding issue with this stupid Marconi Premium combo router, thanks for the replies in any case guys
