Well I just want to know how is it possible that My ADSL usage can be over 3GB by know. I've only downloaded about 400MB of files this moth.

We have 4 users sharing the internet include me. The other 3 people don't download that much about 200MB a month each. today the cap has reached over 3.5GB and I haven't download more than 400MB files.

We are on Telkom ISP with 384kb/s line. I just download all my files from www.Filefront.com So how is it possible that so much cap is used

Well I used to torrent but since we got cap early in the months I stop doing so.

Any help will be appreciated.

Enter your account details here: https://antibody.za.net/sasaonline

Keep the setting on 1 concurrent connection, it will show you if someone else was using your account.

For some reason SASA doesn't work for me anymore, I'm also with telscum. You should also check your router, don't use the default password it comes with, as it's possible for anyone to get your account details, change the password if you are using the default router password, then change your account password using the password tool on telkomsa.net ;)

Browsing can easily use 10mb an hour, you claim you have 4 users, each uses 1 hr per day, thats 40 mb, x 30 , 1.2gig + the 400 mb you dl
d + the 800 they downloaded = 2.4gig, not hard to see where the cap is going, video usage is even more can eat up a few 100mb's on youtube easily.

Seriously its not only downloads that take bandwidth, saying but i only browse im using bandwidth where did it go is a bit naive, 3gb cap is nothing it can be used just browsing.

Hope this helps

Not to mention viruses or windows updates that can happen easily if you aren't looking for them. I've lost 10gigs to a small network all doing windows updates once :(
