ADSL in 2022 ???

I would imagine that they won't pull the plug on the copper until fibre is up and running or the infrastructure is damaged/destroyed.

Well according to their website, you can still order it. Hope however they do get fibre soon.
I have ordered JustDSL from Axxess for my mothers house in Great Brakriver Western Cape and Openserve called and book installation date. Installed the line within 5 days of order placed at Axxess and it is up running since Friday 14 January 2021 with no problems at all. All protocols run full line speed. I believe Openserve will still offer DSL services in areas where copper is available. They will only stop offering the service where Openserve fiber is available.
PureDSL is still one of our best sellers for clients that don't have fibre coverage or clients that don't want to use the particular FNO they are covered for.
ADSL is here to stay for a while still. In certain areas that Openserve rolls out their own fibre they will discontinue copper lines in that area. Also areas that are plagued with constant copper theft and has Telkom Mobile coverage might see copper be discontinued.
In most other cases it's still going strong and PureDSL and Copper Connect orders are accepted.

Yes if it shows coming soon it might have been discontinued but we have quite a few clients on DSL in East London.
Telkom ISP has partnered with Frogfoot to offer internet on the FrogFoot network to.

I'm on Just DSL since last year April when I cancelled my Vuma fibre because of their ridiculous price increases. No complaints at all it works well. I'm moving at the end of the month to another area where Openserve fibre is available and I got a very good deal on that with 25/25 from Telkom. Will see how that goes

Telkom through FF fibre = R599 for 30 / 3 (or "From R599"!).
Your 30 / 30 is even cheaper than that by a few Rand, so don't know how they plan to be competitive, but I suppose some people who don't know better land up at a Telkom shop, or just call them & order.

I'm stuck with ADSL in my area. We have slow speeds and sometimes spotty connection as well.
Will probably be switching to LTE if things don't improve. Have asked my isp, Vox, to look into it and see if they can improve things.
