I would imagine that they won't pull the plug on the copper until fibre is up and running or the infrastructure is damaged/destroyed.Hi Everyone, I am sure you all saw that Telkom is pulling the plug on ADSL but does anyone know when Telkom plans to trun off ADSL for all existing users?
Well according to their website, you can still order it. Hope however they do get fibre soon.Hi Everyone, I am sure you all saw that Telkom is pulling the plug on ADSL but does anyone know when Telkom plans to trun off ADSL for all existing users?
Friends of mine are dependent on ADSL "for now" but they don't know how long they have till it finally goes down on a permanent bases?
Fibre are being installed but it is not up and running yet. So we are hoping they will be able to move over before this happens.

Telkom through FF fibre = R599 for 30 / 3 (or "From R599"!).Yes if it shows coming soon it might have been discontinued but we have quite a few clients on DSL in East London.
Telkom ISP has partnered with Frogfoot to offer internet on the FrogFoot network to.
*Cough* Vuma *Cough*PureDSL is still one of our best sellers for clients that don't have fibre coverage or clients that don't want to use the particular FNO they are covered for.
