ADSL in Botswana

i am guessing its wors then here couse its not one of the most developed places as u know

Actaully.. quite the opposite. Botswana (if my memory serves me correctly) rolled out their ADSL almost a year before us. The Botswana Pula is also one of the most stable, and strongest currencies in Africa - outperforming the Rand for the last few years. The last coupla months may be an exception with the Rand doing so well - but when our currency fell through the floor against the US$, Botswana held their own [8D]

its quite funny though how most South africans think we r the bees knees, the light at the end of the tunnel for Africa the most developed country out there but now an again u hear stuff like this that just makes u reevaluate ure opinion of africa.

[8)][^]though africa still is quite segregated from the rest of the world we try an try an in 10 years well get were the developed countries are in 5 years ago.

New service by Telkom broadband speeds up to 5kbps for only R1k a month. heheh
