Telkom have installed a 36 port DSLAM in the one horse town
called Cathcart located between Queenstown and Stutterheim
on the Road to East London.
Lets see if anyone jumps at this opportunity,
more and more farmers and business people need permanent
internet access for banking, stock market. Takes a while
for the community to embrace new technology.
Farming community will have to setup a wireless link into
town if they wish to make use of DSL. GPRS very slow in the district.
