ADSL in Goodwood

Hi All,

I am an adsl noob. My line got installed yesterday and I am on the simple 4mb capped plan (for now I am using the 20gb cap bundled with the deal).
The router I was supplied is a Hauwei HG532f.
The main reason I took the line was for streaming, however this is not working out as planned.
I stream sports through DSTV now.
There is constant buffering & freezing, even when the quality is low.

My ping is extremely high when I do a speed test.
I have tested this with a trial afrihost & axxess account and get the same result.

My understanding is that 4mb should be sufficient for streaming, do I need to change ISP or upgrade my line to get rid of this?
I have attached my line stats and a speedtest.

From what I've been reading, this could be due to a congested exchange & the only thing I can do is log faults.
Will upgrading to a 10mb line allow for smooth streaming or will I be in the same situation as I currently am?

That ping is pathetic!!! Try testing to a Telkom server in Cape Town.
