........ you have a better chance surviving doing a David Kramer song in drag on the main street than any hope of ADSL, but then again I might be wrong.
As desolate as the place seems there is a lot of activity in the shade.
Check with Tekom to be sure.

Wanted to get ADSL for my mom in Cape L'Agulhas ...... no such luck !

the Napier exchange (028 423 XXXX) does not support DSL and is not on the roll-out plan for the immediate future.

Hey there. Telkom can't be assed to actually train staff to come out here to put in broad band. They are a lazy bunch to tell you the truth as well as darn right rude to their customers. 
If another telephone company comes into SA as planned next year and can offer better prices then i am switching over an hopefully get ADSL. As soon as I get to UK, for 30 quid a month I can Sky, a phone, with free local calls, might I add as well as unlimited Broadband usage. I can down load as much as I want...
