ADSL in Northwold?

Anyone here live in Northwold or close to and have an ADSL line?

I cancelled mine just over a year ago because it really sucked - I was getting dropped lines and slow synch speeds. I moved to the Cell C prepaid deal, but that has come to an end and now I am wondering if ADSL has improved at all in the area.

Just thought id bump this thread.

Does anyone have adsl in Northwold, Olivedale, North Riding. (ie: that general area). Are you happy with the adsl quality?

I have ADSL here on Elnita Avenue and its not that stable. Had far better ADSL when I stayed in Bromhof.

I live in Northriding (Bellairs Drive) and for the past 8 months my 2Mbps line has gone from great to pathetic. The only time the line achieves its expected speed is between 12am and 7am, for the rest of the time I can expect a maximum download rate of around 20Kbps. All signs are the exchange is congested (very high first hop ping +- 100-200ms). Telkom says everything is just fine (I'm connected to whichever exchange handles numbers beginning with 462). Unfortunately, alternatives are practically non-existent due to a common 3G/other wireless deadzone existing over the area in which I live - something that appears to be quite prevalent in the area if one considers various coverage maps.
