ADSL in Radiokop

Line drops every 5 minutes between 5 and 9 in the evenings. When reconnects no throughput during these times.

I live on the other side of Clearwater, about 5 minutes from so I am in your area, so to speak. I have a 10 meg line and it is stable. I had a similar issue as you have a few years back. I canceled my DSL and got 3G instead as it was more stable. Funny thing is, I was with WebAfrica at the time and when I resubbed to telkom DSL last year, my line has been fine ever since. (I canceled my DSL 3 months prior so...)

Who is your ISP? And are you paying them for the line as well as part of a bundle?

Yip there is a place called radiokop and gues what:
- all streets have musical / musical instrument names
- a stone through away there is a suburb with the name of Allen's Nek....

I'm also having a terrible ADSL experience in Radiokop.

I'm on Opera Road. I assume I'm on the Clearwater exchange, I'm 2km from there. I can only get a 1 meg line, and in the evenings my ping to local sites increases above 400ms, and I get nowhere near 1meg speeds.
