ADSL Incredibly unstable

With a SNR of 6 i'm suprised you can even sync at any speed, and as Shodan has pointed out that may be something Telkom can't fix.

Then what other choices would i have?? the thing that confuses me is i never used to have problems with it.....

mate your attennuation is really high and noise margin really low. that usually happens when your modem starts syncing on 1 wire out of the dsl pair, or if the line goes bad somewhere - ie water in a manhole or loose cable joint, etc (this is assuming you were syncing at 4096 before and its suddenly gone bad).
first try see if you get a dialtone with a phone using the same plug that plugs into your modem - if you don't, go straight to the demarc (phone socket closest to where the line enters your home) and see if you do there. If you do, then there's some bad cabling inside your home, otherwise log a normal voice line fault for your line and tell them you've got a bad noise problem on the line.
hope this helps!
