So after applying for my ADSL line in June i got a call today from telkom confirming that they will send an engineer out on the 3rd of october.I have a question though
I opted for the self install option and herewith is where the problem lies.I had an analogue line in my house which i cancelled about a year ago.I asked telkom if they cant just reactivate the line at the exchange and they gave me a whole long sob story about how the local leads might have been used already etc etc.
Do you guys think that there is any possibility that the local leads havent been used yet.I live in a complex so there should be a DP box at the premises.
