ADSL is about to die

What I love about Telkom - the way they threaten the user, stating that should they be forced to drop prices they will simply stop the service ( regardless of the service ).

Now thats a Monopoly, but I believe thats a hollow type of threat ... maybe 2/3 years ago it would have had power, but with the SNO about to arrive, if Telkom were to cancel a service ( DSL for example ), the new SNO would happily gobble up the market share from Telkom ... so Telkom is finally being put in a position where it can no longer threaten and bully the public with the heavy handed manner it has up to now.

The SNO even if it does nothing, its mere presence creates an atmosphere for competition and growth in the communications market.
