ADSL keeps disconnecting

Hi

Any can maybe assist

I'm using RASPPPOE on an XP box to share the ADSL connection across a network (about 6 other pc's)

Problem is my connections only last about 15 - 20mins, then it disconnects, takes about 7 or 8 retries to get back online?

Any idea? i'v checked the 'disconnect if idle' etc

Or could it be a telkom line fault?

1. Borrow another modem if possible and test.
2. Call the Telkom techs. They can test from their side to yours and if the signal is not up to par, they can come out and check at your site.

The techs I've dealt with were pretty clued up and helpfull.
