ADSL light not flashing on TP-link

I have a TP-Link W8960N

Now since the other day my internet has not worked, and on the router, the adsl light does not flash. So it seems like its not even trying to synch ? Does this mean that its not getting the signal from telkom, or that the router is stuffed ?

Get them to run a line test.

Normally if the port at the exchange is a bit stuffed your router won't get signal for syncing

she just said ill try reset your port... then it did nothing. So she said they will send out a technician. But i dont have 2 months to wait

Phoned telkom again... got someone with 4 braincells this time. And he fixed it from there side. WooT. Looks like it was there error.

Good to know. I like to punt TP-Link to my friends and family, glad to hear it was not the routers fault
