Adsl line down

Since I got back from Namibia on Saturday night my Adsl line and telephone line is not working. I reported it early sunday morning and was advised that a technician will come to my place on Monday. It is now Tuesday afternoon and still no technician. I tried phoning Telkom (10210) from my cell a few times today and was either waiting forever for somebody to help or was cut off.

My phone line is completely dead, there is no dial tone or anything. When I phone my landline from my cellphone it rings on cellphone but no sound at my landline phone. On the router the DSL light is blinking green but Internet light is off.

It's no use phoning 10210. It doesn't matter if you phone early in the morning or late at night, you don't get hold of an agent. Just a message saying that there is high call volumes.

Tried twice this morning already and was holding on for 15 minutes each time.

Edit: So it seems like our cable has been stolen and they have to replace 145meters. No indication when it will be completed.
