Adsl line from Afrihost or Telkom?

Hi
I would like to know if it is better to rent my adsl line from Telkom or Afrihost
What is the difference besides price, are there any advantages?

I am asking this because i currently rent my adsl line from Afrihost and have waiting for almost 3 weeks for them to fix a fault on my Adsl line and I'm really getting frustrated.

Would I have the same problem if I take adsl direct from Telkom?

I prefer the direct hands-on approach. My assumption here (and thus under correction) is that if my line is with Afrihost and I phone up Telkom, that they will just refer me back to Afrihost? I just foresee problems this way. I'd have to convince Afrihost that then needs to convince Telkom that something is up ... heckno.

Probably.

You should be able to log into the Telkom website and check whether there is a reference number for your fault. At least then you know it's been reported properly by Afrihost.

My line is not syncing
I tried different modems same problem definitely a fault on the line itself
Afrihost did report the fault to Telkom but still no tech as come out it sort it out

Your contract is with Afrihost.

Phone them every 3 hours and demand an update.

Also demand a refund for your down time.
