Hi Everyone,
I recently moved to a new house where the previous tenants had ADSL. I tried moving my existing line and after 2 months of struggling finally ended up with only a phone line. I then applied for an ADSL line and after phoning several times eventually found out that the estimated date for availability is 29 March 2015. This is due to insufficient ports in the area.
I assume there is a serious lack of infrastructure and ports are on a waiting list or something. Does anyone know who I can contact about this? Is it possible to get the process sped up, or is it just a matter of waiting for Telkom to do something when they eventually feel like it?
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
