Am I correct in saying that there is no difference between a 1024 and a 384 connection apart from the line speed which is controlled by Telkom?
What I am getting at is a friend asked me which option she should go for (she only needs to browse the web) and I said to take the slower and cheapest and if she needs faster just call Telkom and they will up the line speed without needing to make any physical changes at her house.
Was I correct in saying this? That's how it worked when I upped my speed from 512 to 1024.
