As above, I used to be able to go at full speed 4mbps but as of late I've had to go down to 3mbps to get my line stable.

Apparently my exchange is 10mbps enabled but I'd be happy to get just 4mbps.

Thoughts and possible fixes? Using a Netgear N150 but also have the old Billion Routers, Telkom 5100 series.

Your line attenuation values are pretty high. If you know that it was lower previously, then you may be able to get Telkom to fix it.

My connection used to be very stable with the Telkom 5100 ADSL modem, but ever since the upgrades that Telkom made I've had slight dips in my connectivity every once in a while.

Yup, attenuation is way to high to stably support 4megs, I was in a similar situation a year back, after moaning at Telkom they reduced my copper length and managed to get my attenuation from 63.5 to 26, just took a bit of nagging :)

Note: I'm now on 2meg, but these are the only screenshots I've got to demonstrate my point (and I'm now using a different router)

Do I mention the attention value as being too high? Doubt the usual Telkom operator would be able to comprehend what I'm talking about

I don't see it in your stats - but get them to switch your line onto ADSL2+. Then you should be able to get higher speeds
