ADSL line upgrade

Looking at the new Telkom Closer plans, we might just get one of those and upgrade our line to a 1024. According to 10219 the upgrade is free, except for the pro rata charges for remaining days in the month. Is that right? And how long does it take on average for a line to be upgraded?

Yes the upgrade is free, no idea on the time.....

I called them about the upgrade and was told within 72Hrs.....10 mins later had a look at my router and bingo...was upgraded to 4Mb

Same happenend to a mate of mine

So can we agree that the upgrade is free and quick? And noone has to come to your house to make it happen?
