Hi all,

I wonder if someone can help please. I have a 192 ADSL line and as I only use one pc I have a Mecer ADSL USB modem (not a router). When I connected my modem for the first time, I inserted the Installation disk that came with it and followed the setup procedure. I did not enter any IP addresses or anything just my signup name and password.

I am a little worried cause when I want to connect through my ADSL line it brings the usual connection box but I have to click "Dial". There is a telephone number there which is "0000000". If I click properties, under general tab, it says connect using , "ISDN channel - conexant Accessrunner USB ADSL WAN A".

If I click the Configure button it says line type "64K digital".

I can connect perfectly fine, but my worry is why does it says ISDN and not ADSL? also why does it have a dial up number of 000000?

Any help would be appreciated.
