ADSL - MILNERTON PROBLEMS

Am I the only one that`s having telephone & ADSL problems at the moment in Milnerton , Cape Town , my rooters DSL light is flashing only and I cant even dial out or receive calls.

Someone stole the cable?

A tree-cutter damaged our feed cable in Jan and it took Telkom 5 weeks to fix it. Hope yours is up and running soon

Called Telkom and they advise me that they are working on the lines , after being the whole day without ADSL it is working again , thank gosh it was not bigger problems

I have the same problem. Line is dead. ...but strangely I have a tenant on the same property whose DSL/telephone line is working fine.

Currently on his wireless.

EDIT: 21:00 and back up.

They are busy completing the upgrades to our exchange in Milnerton. Got a couple mails and an sms from them.

For an couple months my ADSL router use to disconnect and reset every 3 hours from yesterday's upgrade it is the first time that my router is running for 9 hours with no disconnecting so they did something to fix this problem
