Hey guys thanks for always answering with great info, got another question.
I have a Billion ADSL router, died on me today :(:(

I then at 4:30pm decided to run down to incredible corruption and bought a Netgear

Is this any good? I was looking at the Belkin but it was the same price but had no Wireless N 300, only 150.

Thanks guys.

I have sold quite a few Netgear routers in the past, specifically the DG834 models and they all proved to be great. They just work.

I am not sure of the new models but based on my past experiences with them, you should have nothing to worry about. IMHO they are far better than the D-link crap that is out there.

Never worked on it. I dont really trust ADSL modems, so I normally setup a smoothwall box and set the modem into bridge mode.

Netgear is good stuff! But next time maybe have a look around because there are about 10000 places that would have it far cheaper that Incredible

+1 re D-Link being crap. What's the opinion on Linksys?

Actually I have not used/sold the Linksys products as I have always been successful with the Netgear routers, so I can't say. However, I hear good things about Linksys and my fellow forumites here don't seem to slate the product (Linksys) that much.

Well, considering Linksys is manufactured or made by Cisco, I would expect it to be top notch! I also believe the old ones were the system of choice for budding WUG enthusiasts, because of them running on Linux, and therefore being quite easy to customize.

Thanks guys for your responses.

We used to supply our clients with WAP D-Link's which are SHOCKING, and switched to WAP Linksys. And my feelings are, that if I'm going to buy an ASDL Modem / WAP Router Combo it would be surely be the best product.

However, MWEB offers a Billion for R600, then you hear good stories about Netgear. I think in the end, you need to go with what suites your wallet and what you comfortable with :)

Anyone know who sells Linksys ADSL Modem / WAP Router combo's to the public?
