ADSL Modems Odd Behaviour.

The last two days my ADSL modem goes out of sync.
My ADSL modem has been working fine for over a year now. Not sure what the problem is.

I switch it off and reset it and then it syncs again.

It is a Zyxel 650R-31. PPOe all onboard etc.

Had the same problem with my Pots Router, over the past few days I had some rain in my area, and water got into the exchange, the water was earthing the cable connection.

AAhhh,
Thanks that could be it here too. Telkom were very busy lately at the exchange. I also often see them pumping water out of manhole covers. Perhaps your experience is relevant.
