Adsl & Nat

I would like to use port forwarding, in specific
X display over ssh, how do I do this on a network
which has a wireless ADSL (D-Link/Telkom)
unit as router. Do I need to use NAT ?

i.e. on remote host: export display=192.168.x.x
which is obviously a local node on the intranet
connected to the internet via the above
mentioned router. I need the 192.168.x.x ip to
be something that can be seen from outside...

You could maybe try using dynamic dns...it works fine and havent had any downtime at all
