I have a 300GB capped account, so I dont get throttled.
What I meant is it's not applicable to capped accounts so the OP appears to be referring specifically to uncapped accounts...

I'd also go for a large capped account if you want something consistent as possible.

Because it's not a soft cap which is when you utilise a throttling network management policy on that specific product...
Which ISP have you been using so far?
There are various means of controlling customers. Some throttle, some shape and others call it managing bandwidth. It's hard to escape it, but generally capped accounts perform best.
Unshaped accounts seem to offer a lot, but ISP's make it enormously tricky to get much data out.
