ADSL not up to speed....HELP

Howzit guys

I have a 384K connection with the openweb 2GB intl + 30GB local account. Before I had this account I had a cybersmart 3GB account then my ADSL was fast etc

Since I've had the openweb account my internet is slow when I browse, downloading speeds are the same and my ping in online gaming is low so there's no problem.....It's just when I browse that it is extremely slow, Some pages it doesn't even open, it just says ''page cannot be displayed'' and it's starting to pi$$ me off now

Can it maybe be a setting that is wrong or what

Anybody have any suggestions?

Depends on how you're connecting to the internet - ADSL Router or USB?

If it is the router are you using it in Bridged (where you 'dial up' from windows) or is the router handling the authentication?
