ADSL on prepaid line?

Hey Guys,

Was wondering if you could help me out with answering this (i think) simple question I have.

Is it possible to have prepaid telkom line subscription (for the ADSL line rental part). or is ADSL only available on the debit order style/pay upfront thing.

I am currently on the monthly-pay-xyz for line rental, but theres months im not even home and travel around where I find the line rental and contracted data cost is unnecessary.

So, I would have both data and line rental on pre-paid.... just wondering if its possible

No, Telkom does not offer ADSL on prepaid lines.

Considering that telkom revenue is heading south, the prepaid market is a lost revenue opportunity.

I also have telkom prepaid line. Wish I could get adsl on prepaid, but telkoms policy makes its impossible.

Not the policy but the hardware changes and software configurations required. Prepaid works off a different platform.

Surely there is a business case for the hardware changes and software configs!!

Correct cannot run adsl on a prepaid line. BUT You can apply for an additional line and use one as adsl i.e post paid line and the other as prepaid.
