I placed my order almost 3 weeks ago. I have regularly called Telkom to find out the status of the order. It went into scheduling after a week and has been with scheduling for about 2 weeks. I have received the following answers from them:
1) The query has been escalated an I should received a call within 48 hours. They never call back.
2) Their systems were down.
3) I should call back in a couple of days time to find out when the installation has been scheduled.
I'm get the feeling that these are standard answers and nothing is really being done. Maybe I'm just paranoid and don't trust Telkom.
