Adsl outage in Stellenbosch

Hi,

I'm having a strange issue with my ADSL in Stb, where my PPPoE connection was up but not working at all.
When I rebooted the modem the connection cannot be established - pretty much like that Telkom auth issue a few days ago...

I did see Mweb's website mentioning an outage in some areas of Stellenbosch (since like 15:00), but they didnt give a reason

Anyone else having the same problem?

Just after I made that post via my phone my ADSL got back up!

You are not the only one having this problem. One of my client in Stellenbosch has been having the same issue the last couple of weeks.

I'm in Somerset West and I've been having a very similar problem for more than a few days now. Sometimes my connection will drop completely, but other times the connection will stay up, but all traffic will die completely. Had Telkom come and look at it twice, and each time they 'fix' the issue, within a few hours or a day it's back to doing it again.
