I'm seriously considering getting the 384k service for my home. I've recently been given a wifi router (with a WAN input) and I'm told this would be perfect to broadcast my ADSL internet connection around the house so that I can log on using my wifi laptop.

The question is, what ADSL modem should I get? Would all ADSL modems be able to plug into the WAN socket of the wifi router? Should I get one of the modems that Telkom offers?

How about Giving Make and Model.

This works exceptionally well

You need an ethernet based router any one would do. Though I suggest you make use of the Netgear Series which have built in firewalls. DG 834 is good.

You simply need to take an ethernet cable from your wifi access point into your ADSL router. This is assuming your Access point is an ethernet one.

If not there are ways to handle this to
