ADSL Planning

Hi there,

This is a cry for help!! As most of you propably know getting hold of the right people in telkom is allmost impossible.

My problem, ADSL line is connected to an exchange 4.5km from my house allthough the closest mini exchange is less than one KM away.

The results A LOT of RX errors on the line and a max speed of 196

If any one knows who I can contact or someone in telkom that can help me resolve this problem PLS!!

Willie it all depends in which suburb, town you stay.

A friend of mine had a hassle with his DSL account and
the dsl modem that they shipped him did not work,
so I went into the local George Telkom office and laid my case to
them and he got it sorted out in 2 days with them phoning
me back to say they sorted his bill out and are shipping
a new modem to him.

Do not walk in and blast them as they will be least likely to help
you. I have always had excellent service from them.
