My problem is mostly at the evenings, but often also during the day
Very slow connecting speeds and some sites I can hardly open, like gmail.

--Give the first six digits of our phone number (like 011 425 xxxx)

--ADSL line speed (like 1Mbps, 4Mbps etc)
1Mbps
--ISP name and account type (like MWEB uncapped)
Telkom
--The time of day when you typically see these problems
Evenings, but often also during the day

also see the one to Telkomsa.net, while doing this one other sites like www.fnb.co.za and www.4x4direct.co.za was working fine but sites like gmail and telkomsa.net cannot be opened.

Today it is on and off the whole time. It is so frustrating if you try and run a business. The internet works perfectly, then all of the sudden there is no data transfer for about a minute and then it goes on again. Been like this the whole day.
