Hi everyone
The last 2 nights we have had storms in Durban. I am on a 4Mb line, I have 2 ISP's.
The last 2 nights my ADSL has been dropping, and trying to sync at diff speeds. Understandable considering the weather.
However this morning its syncing at 2Mb, so I phone telkom and the lovely lady agreed to reset my port. Fine. Still syncs at 2Mb. Before it was around 3.2Mb or 4Mb.
Now I try play Blackops on a Capetown server, with both ISP's, I get a 200 ping, VERY steady at 200. On JHB I get 69 ping. (before this it was CT - 40, JHB - 80). Now I decided to join a london server, and my ping is 240, which I would say is what it should be.
So my question is, how is it that I get a 200 ping from cape town because of a storm here, and a 240 ping in London.
Its 2 separate ISPs though.
Can anyone help?
