ADSL Problem :/

Hi all,well this has been happening for some time now,at least once a week as well..off for a whole day then next day everything is 100%..

But what i've noticed is,when it rains it would not sync anymore..? another funny thing is when i pick up the Tel for a small time and put it back down the sync light would stabilize and i'd have internet for at least 2min.. ?

This is a first for me..Oh and there is a terrible noise,scratching noise when i pick it up..Myself and the other person which i phone hears this..?

Sounds like line problem call Telkom 10210, adsl option and ask them to check your line

Oky so i know it is a line problem,but i still don't understand why if i take the phone off and put it aside,the ADSL starts syncing and gives me internet like that for at least 20-30mins (then it stops syncing) but i can put it back on and take it off again and starts syncing for another 30mins ..

Log a fault due to static
Also get your pots filter(s) changed.
Each phone handset must have one.

Report your telephone line faulty not your ADSL line or they will just test the ADSL line and see that it is working and do nothing ,the telephone line and ADSL are two different tests .
The reason why you line some times syncs after you pick it up is that when you pick up the phone the handset puts a short on the line that balances the line .

Oky so phoned them yesterday and logged the tel line being terrible and can hardly hear anything.. :)

Hopefully they'll be here in the next few days,being telkom i'm seeing a two week wait :/

Hi There,
Follow up on a daily basis with them. I would also say that you work from home and need the line to make calls.
Sometimes it gets you up the queue.
