My ADSL has been working fine until a day ago, I Have a Mega 100WR and have a Telkom and Axxess Account, My problem is that i can login to my router and it shows that both are connected however i cannot browse any webpages, or download anything! Both are in the 41. Ip Range! Tried USB and Ethernet still no luck!
I Havent changed any settings at all!

Your best bet would be to get into contact with your ISP and let then see if everything is okay on their side?

have you tried changing your DNS servers or checking if you can atleast ping the sights or their IP's maybe check your ativirus settings could of done a update and blocked your browsing

My Dad had the same problem with the same router yesterday. I went into it's config and it had 'mysteriously' lost all the ADSL account information. Doesn't sound like this is your problem, but thought it might be worth mentioning...

Could my router be faulty? i ran diagnostics on the router and it was fine

Had a similar problem with a mega100wr which cleared up after I drove over it a few times and replaced it with a 5102g :D

Do the following
Start>Run, type net start dns [ENTER]

Start>Run, type cmd, type ipconfig /flushdns [ENTER]
type ipconfig /registerdns[ENTER]
Clear cache.
Try again...

Had a similar problem with a different router, last week.
Retested everything.
Suspected the Telkom line.
Tried to report to Telkom ADSL
Gave up after holding for 18 minutes.
Used cell as modem to log a telehone line fault on telkom homepage.
They say not to do that for ADSL faults, but I done it anyway.

Got a SMS about two hours later, to say fixed.

Telkom techie phoned me to check.

He confirmed that there was a problem with DSLAM at exchange.

I would not be in a hurry to scrap the router
